The Chiefs clobbered the Perpetual Help Altas, 8-0, while the Blazers overwhelmed the Emilio Aguinaldo Generals, 5-0, to overtake the three-time defending champion San Beda.
Arellano and CSB have 10 match points apiece, while idle San Beda fell to third spot with nine points. The Lions’ Monday match with Lyceum was called off due to Tropical Depression "Ruby" and re-scheduled to Dec. 18.
The Aries Caslib-mentored Lions will have a chance to regain the solo lead if they could hurdle the Blazers on Friday.
