    Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach 'dabs' with Panthers in debut as TV correspondent for Super Bowl 50

    Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach joins in the pre-Super Bowl 50 fun.

    MISS Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach is fitting right in during her first day as Inside Edition's correspondent for Super Bowl 50.

    Wurtzbach definitely stood out during the Super Bowl Opening Night, previously known as 'Media Day,' that was held on Monday (Tuesday, Manila time) with her Miss Universe crown and sash. But the Filipina beauty queen dug right into the festivities and joined in on the fun of the chaotic scrum of players and reporters in San Francisco.

    In fact, Wurtzbach held court in interviewing players from the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers, the two teams that will face each other on Super Bowl 50. And she quickly learned the 'dab' dance, first popularized by Carolina Panthers star QB Cam Newton, but ironically she got her first lesson from Broncos defensive end Kenny Anunike.

    Later on, she dabbed the with dab-masters, the Panthers themselves.

    It's obvious the Miss Universe is having the time of her life. And in return, as ESPN's Steve Levy said in a Sportscenter tweet, she has taken the world-famous dab 'universal.'

    The Panthers and Broncos face off at Levi's Stadium in Sta. Clara, California for Super Bowl 50 on February 8.
