MAOR Rozen resigned as coach of Kaya FC, ending barely two months of tenure at the helm of the United Football League club.
Team owner Santi Araneta broke the news on his Twitter account, @santiaraneta, on Saturday.
“Maor Rozen has officially tendered his resignation as coach of Kaya FC. We're grateful for his contributions to the club and we wish him well."
The 50-year-old Uruguayan mentor hinted about the `many issues’ that led to his decision, but refused to comment further on the details until the team releases an official statement.
“I have no bad words to say to Kaya, absolutely, but I will wait for the statement of the club before I can answer your questions,” Rozen said when Spin.ph caught up with him at the bleachers of the Emperador Stadium during the Division 2 game between Agila and Dolphins United.
The former Philippine 19-and-under coach, who had his last practice for Kaya earlier in the day, expects the club to make a statement on Sunday.
