KAYA FC-ILOILO will play in Group I of the 2021 AFC Cup Asean Zone to be held on June 22 to 28 in a venue still to be determined.

The Iloilo club, however, is still fighting for a spot in the AFC Champions League. They will battle Brisbane Roar on April 7 to start the playoff stage.
The Asian Football Confederation decided against home-and-away matches due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The sites for the group stage matches will still be bid out to countries interested to host the event under strict guidelines due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The South, Central, and East Zones will play their matches from May 14 to 20, while the West Zone will be held from May 23 to 29.
In the event it fails to make the Champions League, Kaya FC-Iloilo will eye a respectable finish in the AFC Cup this year. The club was second in Group H after three matches behind Tampines Rovers in last year’s competition before it was cancelled.
