HANS Michael Weiss has returned for another tour of duty as Philippine Azkals head coach.
Weiss will immediately go back to work as the Philippines is set to play friendly matches against Nepal on June 15 and Chinese Taipei on June 19.

Weiss coached the Azkals from 2011 to 2013, accumulating a record of 21 wins, 11 draws, and 12 losses.
He last coached the Laos national team from 2022 to 2023, but also had stints with Romania first division club Otelul Galati and the Mongolia squad from 2017 to 2020.
“We are delighted to welcome coach Weiss back to the PHI MNT,” said Philippine Football Federation president Mariano Araneta. “He has kept the Philippines close to his heart and continues to be a well-respected figure by players and staff.
“He has also gained valuable experience over the past decade that will help him in his return to the Philippines. We are hopeful that his second opportunity to the team will be more successful than the first,” said Araneta.
The PFF has also made invitations to the players for their training camp and friendly matches this month.
The players are Neil Etheridge, Patrick Deyto, Julian Schwarzer, Amani Aguinaldo, Jesper Nyholm, Carlie De Murga, Martin Steuble, Daisuke Sato, Santiago Rublico, Jesse Curran, Marco Casambre, Mike Ott, Manny Ott, Oskari Kekkonen, Sandro Reyes, Hikaru Minegishi, Dylan De Bruycker, Kevin Ingreso, Patrick Reichelt, OJ Porteria, Jared Peña, Chester Gio Pabualan, Andres Aldeguer, Kenshiro Daniels, Bienvenido Marañon, and Jarvey Gayoso.
