SM Supermalls will also have its viewing party in select malls nationwide, including the Mall of Asia Music Hall in Pasay City.
This is on top of the television broadcast that Cignal TV, through free-to-air One Sports, has provided since the Filipinas’ opening match in the World Cup against Switzerland last Week.
The additional watch parties have been set up after the Filipinas’ historic win over New Zealand, 1-0, following a goal by Sarina Bolden last Tuesday.
Head coach Alen Stajcic is aware of the turnout of the Filipino fans in the watch parties and loves it.
“Several scenes in the shopping center is brilliant. Loved it,” said Stajcic.
