MILO Rivera dominated his rivals for the second straight leg, registering the production and overall best time in the eighth leg of the Race Motorsports Club Shell Helix National Slalom Series at Robinsons Starmills in Pampanga.
The 18-year old Rivera timed 46.90 seconds to score back-to-back wins after topping the seventh leg at Robinsons Market Sta. Rosa.
Peewee Mendiola of Team Big Chill, third in Sta. Rosa, came in second this time at 46.98 seconds, while Noel Rivera was third in 48 seconds.
Placing fourth overall and submitting the best time in the Front Wheel category was Peque Alacbay at 48.84, followed by Jojo Camacho at 49.12.
Abet Reyes of Team Big Chill recorded the Novice Best time at 50.14, while Jennifer Moreno topped the Ladies Class with a time of 57.02 in the event that featured teams from all over Luzon including Team Comet, Tarlac Auto Group, Auto Fastion, Tim’s Garage, PATTS Racing, KRC, Team Big Chill, Team Soleil and BNT.
The ninth leg is set September 8 at Riverbanks Marikina, while the 2nd Slalom Invitational for non-series participants will be held on August 18 at Robinsons Calasiao in Pangasinan.
