SARINA BOLDEN's name will forever be remembered in Philippine football history as she historically produced our very first goal in the World Cup against New Zealand.
It was a moment of brilliance for Bolden who managed to will her way against the towering defensive stance from their rivals. She even managed to puncture the goal despite the team's limited possession.
With such an inspiring display, Funko Pop designer GrapiKen decided to create a model based on Sarina Bolden.
In a post, GrapiKen revealed that a Filipinas fan by the name of Jacq Bernabe asked him to create Sarina Bolden's Funko Pop character. Prior to his creation, the Sarina Bolden Funko Pop design was a fan art concept.
Eventually the model was done, and GrapiKen managed to ask Sarina to sign his creation.
And with the Filipinas defying the odds and reaching their very first World Cup appearance, will other members get their own Funko Pop versions?
