Stina Blackstenius had three goals while Fridolina Rolfo and Johanna Rytting Kaneryd had one apiece, according to a match report posted on the Sweden women’s football team website.
Even with the loss, the match enabled the Filipinas to gauge themselves against a world powerhouse in Sweden before they go up against Switzerland on Friday in their historic Fifa Women’s World Cup debut.
“I hope that they can really show that we can be a force and can be competitive in the world stage,” said Filipinas head coach Alen Stajcic before the unofficial match against Sweden.
