    Oct 12, 2012

PHILIPPINE Army targets the solo leadership in Group D as it takes on Agila on Saturday at the resumption of the United Football League Cup at the University of Makati pitch.

Game time is slated at 6 p.m. with the veteran club, currently tied with defending champion Philippine Air Force with three points, hoping to ride the momentum of its surprising 2-0 victory over group top seed Stallion last Sunday.

The team will miss the services of national team members Ed Sacapaño and Nestorio Margarse Jr., who are with the Azkals in their ongoing 10-day Middle East training camp.

Azkal midfielder Roel Gener, though, will be there to banner the squad, along with Ricardo Becite and Luisito Brillantes, who both scored in the Stallion game.

Agila tries to bounce back after its 0-2 loss to the Airmen also last Sunday.

Two hours earlier, Diliman and Dolphins United also try to recover from separate losses as they face off in Group B.
