    Jun 8, 2022
Neil Etheridge and the Azkals are off to a tough start.

THE Philippine men's football team could not come up with a goal, settling for a draw with Yemen on Wednesday at the start of its campaign in the 2023 AFC Asian Cup third round qualifiers at the MFF Football Centre in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

The Azkals got a point in the match at the start of their Group B campaign, but their chances of making it to the actual tournament will heavily rely on the next matches.

The Philippine men's football team takes on Mongolia next.

Palestine will play host Mongolia later in the other Group B match of the day.

The Azkals will go up against host Mongolia on Saturday at the MFF Football Centre.
