Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, and other host Sinagapore are in Group B, fighting for the two other Final Four slots.
Vietnam gained the early lead courtesy of Que Ngoc Hai 11 minutes into the match, before Zullham Zamruan equalized for Indonesia in the 36th minute.
Le Cong Vinh put the Vietnamese up anew with a 68th minute strike, only for Samsul Arif to knot the count for good six minutes before stoppage time.
