THE Philippine Azkals essayed a 2-1 come-from-behind win over Afghanistan in their international friendly on Tuesday night at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
Sebastian Rasmussen came away with the goal of the match, while Christian Rontini broke the deadlock to give the Philippines the win after beginning this Fifa international window with a 1-1 draw to Chinese Taipei last Friday.

Rasmussen leveled the match in the 74th minute by beating several Afghanistan defenders by himself for a highlight goal.
Rontini then gave the Philippines the lead in the 81st.
The Azkals’ two friendly matches are part of the team’s preparation for the World Cup and Asian Cup qualifiers that will begin on November.
