THE inaugural 7s Super League is set to kick off on March 10 at McKinley Stadium in Taguig City, heralding a new era of football excitement in the Philippines.

Seven-a-side format
Organized by 7x7 Football Philippines, the league introduces a revolutionary seven-a-side format, aiming to redefine football in the country.
Del Rosario of Team Philippine Azkals highlighted the league's innovation and thrilling gameplay, promising a fast-paced and dynamic style of football on a compact field with smaller teams.
The 7s Super League features elite teams from various cities across Metro Manila in its debut season, including Alabang South Supers, BGC Soldiers, Pampanga Strikers, Paranaque Super Nets, Quezon City Heroes, Siniloan GOM Blues, and Pasig City Pirates. With a mix of local and international players, the league brings a global dimension to the competition, offering fans diverse playing styles and exciting matchups.
Del Rosario expressed his excitement for the league's launch, foreseeing it as a game-changer for football in the Philippines. He emphasized the league's commitment to creating jobs, providing opportunities, and nurturing the youth through football, encapsulated in its "7x7 Goals of J.O.Y."
