EL Nido, Palawan - Constantin Popovici sustained his solid start in the men’s side, while Rhiannan Iffland showed why she’s the undisputed champion in the women’s division after Round Two of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series 2025 on Saturday at the Small Lagoon in Miniloc Island.

After topping Round One, the Romanian Popovici finished fourth in the second round, which was still good enough to keep a firm grip on the top spot overall with a total of 171.5 points.

Iffland, on the other hand, overtook Kaylea Arnett for the women’s lead thanks to her fifth-place finish in Round Two after claiming runner-up honors in the opening round.

Jonathan Paredes jumped from fourth to second, while Oleksiy Prygorov topped the second round after wounding up sixth in the opener to climb to third overall in the men’s side.

Nelli Chukanivska jumped one spot to second overall, followed by Molly Carlson who ruled Round Two to climb to third overall in the female side.

The divers look to finish strong in back-to-back Rounds Three and Four on Sunday at the Big Lagoon also in Miniloc island, with the most points at the end ruling the first of the four stops of this year’s World Series.

“I feel like I put myself in a good position for the last two rounds,” said Iffland, the Australian eight-time defending World Series champion.

It was a contrast of results for Arnett, the American who, after ruling the opening round, finished second to last among 12 participants on Saturday to drop to fourth overall.

Filipino-Australian wildcard entry Xantheia Pennisi stayed in the middle of the pack, finishing seventh in Round Two to become seventh in the running overall.

Simone Leathead rounded out the Top Five females, followed by Meili Carpenter, Pennisi, Maria Paula Quintero, Ginni Van Katwijk, Eleanor Smart, Elisa Cosetti, and Iris Scmidbauer.

Gary Hunt and James Lichtenstein completed the Top Five in the men’s side after the latest round. Carlos Gimeno, Yolotl Martinez, Nikita Fedotov, Catalin Preda, Miguel Garcia, Braden Rumpit, and Andrea Barnaba rounded out the men’s competitors.
