JAMES Lang, Jon Castillo, and Paul Diaz ruled the Urban Extreme Sports Challenge of the Red Horse Beer Pambansang Muziklaban grand finals held recently in Pasay City.

Participants were judged based on style, consistency, number of tricks and difficulty of tricks.

Lang bested the likes of Hanry Chan, Dan Lopez, Paul Diaz, Johnty Claraval, Eboy Farr and Taj Trinidad while Castillo lorded it over Farr, Trinidad, Max Galsim, and Ej Serabia.

Diaz prevented Lang from nailing a second title on the same day. Aside from Diaz and Lang, Noli Baga, Mike Oliveros, Daboi Pineda and Dairella Elias also made it to the finals of the BMX box jump event.

Meanwhile, A Music Theory romped away with the P500,000 grand cash prize and an exclusive recording contract at the Red Horse Beer Pambansang Muziklaban 2012 grand finals. The band is composed of Cholo Pabalan, JC Santos, Lorce Manaois and John Jo Presingular.
