WWE 2K20 has been trending for all the wrong reasons.
Just a week after it was released, the latest edition of the professional wrestling video game is already getting booed over the ridiculous amount of bugs and glitches. Whether it has something to do with the title being exclusively developed by Visual Concepts without Yuke's or not, WWE 2K20 looks like a one, big botch.
YouTuber Troydan recently uploaded a compilation of the most hilarious in-game issues:
Aware of the backlash, 2K Sports is preparing a patch that will be available in a couple of weeks, while Sony has reportedly issued refunds for the faulty game. Still, this didn't stop WWE 2K20 players from sharing their #FixWWE2K20 stories on social media.
The bugs are so bad that some features (custom belts) and entire characters have gone missing. You literally can't see John Cena.
Fans couldn't help but compare it to previous iterations, and even 2K's basketball simulation game.
IGN gave it a score of 4.3 out of 10, describing WWE 2K20 as "a Braun Strowman-sized step back for the series."
The ton of glitches resulted in trippy graphics and warped animation. Other gamers also noticed wrestler models being recycled.
Safe to say, Toy Head-Quarters or THQ — the original developer of WWE video game titles — is sorely missed.
