WITH MINANA ESPORTS confirming their venture into the MPL-PH scene, rumors have been spreading around regarding their potential destination.
Among the most popular rumors? Nexplay would be acquiring the amateur based squad.
With fans curious to know more about the outcome of Minana's MPL debut, Setsuna "Akosi Dogie" Ignacio revealed in his latest vlog that he has been receiving a lot of messages about Minana going to Nexplay.
Here's what he has to say about these rumors.
"Pagdating naman sa MPL, I think if ever maghahanap si Nexplay, I think Minana na talaga yung best choice e. Pero hindi ko pa alam kung si Minana ang kukunin ng Nexplay," said Dogie.
In his previous vlog, Dogie mentioned that he wanted a total reboot and acquire a team from the amateur scene. With some of the hints he mentioned about the team's offseason move, perhaps his wishes could be fulfilled.
"...Full reroster kami (Nexplay), sa tingin ko matitira si Haze lang talaga... tapos yung iba sa MDL..." he mused.
"So ano mangyayari kina H2wo, kina RENEJAY, yung dating lineup? Hindi ko pa alam, ako kase gusto ko talaga reboot e, bagong player, bagong sistema, ipupuso talaga yung game."
RENEJAY from Nexplay EVOS to Blacklist International?
But besides talking about Minana Esports, he also offered his thoughts on another rumor circulating during the offseason.
A post from Tryke Gutierrez raised some speculations on Blacklist potentially getting Renejay "RENEJAY" Barcarse.
According to Dogie, RENEJAY told the Hall of Legend inductee: "Boss D, may two choices ako: It's either mag-stay ako sa Nexplay or lumipat sa Blacklist."
Dogie became concerned.
"Basically wala kang choice, zero choice ka e," he said about what RENEJAY had told him. "Kase ganito yan. Yung two choices na iyon, hindi mo iyon choices.
"Basically, si Nexplay, kapag hindi ka ginawang pro player, talent ka. No choice ka doon! Second, if ever sa Blacklist, kapag hindi ka binuy-out ng Blacklist, nganga ka! Stay ka sa Nexplay as a talent. At the end of the day, hindi mo choices yun!"
And with Dogie becoming more focused on his personal life with the birth of his son, Hans Axel Mollazehi, the MLBB content creator encouraged RENEJAY to be more independent. In his vlog, he wanted the EXP laner to learn about video editing.
