THE NAME 'Bren' in MLBB esports signify a team brimmed with a strong legacy in the scene given their numerous international championships.
With such a prestige surrounding their name, other teams began expressing interests in forging an alliance with Bren, with Saudi Arabian-based org Team Falcons forging a partnership with the Filipino squad, which ultimately pushed the Saudi org to greater heights during the Esports World Cup.
But despite the success, Team Falcons decided to pull the plug with their partnership with AP.Bren which raised a lot of eyebrows as to why the decision was made.
During the introductory press conference, featuring key figures from the newest entrants in the MPL PH scene, Twisted Minds and Team Falcons, the latter expressed the reasons as to why the partnership between the two juggernauts ended.
One important element comes into mind: the community.
"It's been a really good year, it's been a good relationship with AP.Bren, for us to understand and learn more about the market. It just comes down to we do like to do things ourselves, and we want to make sure that our investment is the money that is coming to help support the communities in the area," started Grant Rousseau, Global Esports Director, Team Falcons.
When discussing their plans on how the team will establish their community, Rousseau hinted on plans that could be implemented in the future.
"It's all about we want to create a genuine Falcons community here, and it also allows us to go more into community events. We spoke about doing academy teams, local events, and things like that."
"It gives us more room and space to put our own ideas in to help grow this industry here in the Philippines compared to a partnership."

What will Falcons bring in the MPL scene?
But besides strengthening their community in the local MLBB scene, Falcons also has other parameters that they would like to implement as well.
The goal is to deliver the most optimal outcome in the scene and Rousseau stated that: "On a global scale, Falcons is really pushing to be the number one team competitively, we've seen a lot of success winning the Esports World Cup, and a bunch of majors in different games."
Then when talking about their plans to further boost the team's performance, Rousseau said: "We're looking to bring that philosophy to our team here, and we have our own ideas especially around performance, out of game performance, we work on our players in terms of sports psychology, our fitness, their nutrition."
And eventually through their efforts, Team Falcons could achieve a key milestone in the scene.
"Hopefully all of these will give us an edge to help us catch Onic and hopefully beat them," reflected Rousseau.
