VALORANT PRO PLAYER, coach, and content creator, Clark Karoll "Narpim" Landrito posted an emotional message on his official Facebook page which revealed his absence for the upcoming VCT PH Split 2 campaign.

From the beginning there were already hints on bootcamp drama plaguing his team, JustUs, a team that made waves for puncturing their way to the 2nd Split. Narpim was frustrated that he wasn't given the chance to play, especially since he announced to the public that he will show off his skills.

"I will no longer play on this Split 2 for some reasons. Our team breakdown due to our loss earlier, this post is para updated yung mga nag-a-abang sakin kahit kaunti lang, I'm sorry but I failed. What happened is: gusto nila si 6th man maglaro so at first sabi ko, 'No I want to play," Narpim started.

"Pero after ng usapan I decided to go back as a coach, kasi nga baka 'di na ko for player now, baka for mentoring na ako ngayon sa team, I gaved them everything they need as in everything just one request away, but [it] end[ed] up gusto nila sila-sila lang. Well okay lang, masakit lang sa part sakin dahil feel ko na-reject ako."

He further dug deep where he revealed that his team wasn't committed to perform their best, plus he even explained why the team decided to let go of former Team Secret player Riley "witz" Go.

"Ayaw naman um-attend ng scrims, that's the reason why I let Witz na umalis na lang dito kasi may mas opportunity sya sa Oasis. For this team JustUS masasabi ko lang is, nag-alaga ako ng maling team again and again. Daming oportunista sa mundo, good luck on your journey boys, with that kind of attitude 'di mo lang sure kung may kukuha sa inyong org."

He further threw shade on his players saying: "Itong post na to di para i-cancel sila, pero if maisip niyo na kuhanin sila as a player, at least you have a warning."

JustUs players respond

With Narpim venting out on his Facebook page, comes an extremely detailed post from one of JustUs' players named Syko.

According to Syko, Narpim was frequently unavailable during the team's scrimmages.

"After nun you decided to play na lang as coach during our run sa Split 1 pero to be honest hindi rin ganon ka impactful since hindi ka rin naman uma-attend sa scrims namin," said Syko.

"Bihira lang kami mag-practice pero [ka]pag may time kami eh ikaw naman yung di sumisipot. During nung Split 1 run namin bilang lang namin sa kamay yung times na sumama ka sa scrims namin as a “COACH.”

Then when talking about Narpim's earlier post about his overall frustrations on the lack of playing time, here's what Syko has to say.

"Hindi lang naman yung loss kanina yung naging factor bakit ayaw ka namin maglaro. Maraming chance na kaming nabigay sayo eversince before JustUs pa to prove yourself, pero hindi ka namin nakikita as fit sa team talaga," said the JustUs player.

"Aware ka naman na nagvo-voice out din kami na 'di kami comfortable pag maglalaro ka pero you keep gaslighting us yung mga natulong mo sa team na hindi naman namin hiningi in the first place."

Syko may seem like he doesn't acknowledge the efforts of Narpim, however he mentioned that he is grateful for his contributions, though there are some caveats.

"We’re thankful naman and we appreciate yung mga help mo sa amin, we respect you also but unfortunately iba yung dating sayo. [Ka]pag nagdi-disagree kami is isusumbat mo yung mga natulong mo samin which is we all thought na ginawa mo yun ng bukal sa loob mo kase you want to support us with this being said you feel entitled sa every decision sa team na to na kami naman bumuo originally."

He even explained that Narpim has been extremely insistent despite the team's decision and it seemed he failed to acknowledge his players' personal lives.

"Ilang beses na namin sinabi sayo na ayaw ka namin kakampi pero ikaw parin yung pumipilit at 'di mo ni-respect yung decision namin. Regarding practice yes di kami makapag-practice consistently kasi busy kami with acads which aware ka naman even before pa."

Planned content

But there were other stories that Syko highlighted like that time when Narpim planned to make content about JustUs during their battle against TheBais, something that made the players uncomfortable as it showcased their rowdy behavior against their rivals.

"It made us feel na parang nandun ka (Narpim) lang for wins lang which is tina-take credit mo lahat at may instances pa na ginagawa mo kaming content knowing na ayaw namin (JustUS vs TheBais)"

"Naging sobrang active ka lang nung after namin matalo yung TheBais and nakapag qualify sa VCT Playoffs. Pinilit mo pa nga din i-post yung “Mic check video vs TheBais” kahit ayaw namin ipost yung video na yun."

Screenshots were even posted about this incident and there were even comments from players like GianSanity where he doesn't mind if the players of JustUs started smacktalking his team. He even posted a conversation he had with Narpim, where he reviewed the content that was made. GianSanity had no issue with the planned video.

Eventually there were other concerns that were brought up, most notably regarding the players' salaries.

"Wag mong isumbat yung mga SAHOD-SAHOD or other things na binibigay mo dahil first of all NEVER mo naman kaming sinahuran at ikaw lang ang nag-o-offer niyan sa amin. Grateful kami sa mga natanggap namin na bagay pero hindi para isumbat samin na parang meron pa kaming utang na loob sayo."

Narpim fires back

And the tirades keep on going as Narpim posted two separate entries, sharing his side of the story.

Regarding the numerous times he was absent from scrimmages, Narpim explained that he also has to deal with his personal life.

"Busy kayo sa acads yes busy din ako sa work so pag ako pwede, di kayo pwede."

Then he talked about his role as the team's coach, saying: "Alam nyo yan na di ako strategical coach, target ko is morale and mindset niyo during game kasi kayo yung lalaro eh. 'Di naman ako pwede magsalita habang in-game, kayo yung naglalaro dyan di ako. All I can do is give insights and boost your morale."

As he delivered the closing remarks, the JustUs player-coach admitted that he felt betrayed by his team.

"Ang disrespectful lang is how you guys wanted me to get out of the team after all ng nangyari. After I let you sleep sa bahay namin, after ko kayong paghandaan ng pagkain sa umaga at ihatid sa kanya-kanya sakayan para bang walang tropahan na nangyari diba? Yan yung masakit sa part ko boys, you guys need to learn how to respect at tumanaw ng utang na loob, yan nalang kulang niyo."

"Never ko kayo hiningan ng kapalit sa mga bagay na naitulong ko...Ito lang na gusto ko maglaro sa last run for my VCT Split 2, pero mas sinunod ko gusto niyong coach ako kasi sabi niyo dun ako nakakatulong, dun ako ako fit sa inyo."

"So sabi ko, 'Sige G,' then ayaw niyo na din. Kumbaga disrespectfully you are kicking out someone who helped you on your journey kung na saan yung spot mo sa competetive scene now."

And despite all that he is been through, he wished his players all the best.

"Goodluck! Hoping you all the best JustUs, I'm still grateful na may jersey ako with you guys."
