Stacked with rookies from ONIC Nine Lives, Twisted Minds made a statement in style that their prowess cannot be underestimated.
Let’s take a look back at how Twisted Minds brought the plot twist and rallied to the top in week 1 of MPL Philippines Season 16.
Veterans vs. Rising Stars
Twisted Minds made Angelo “Pheww” Aracangel, playing Zhuxin in the mid lane, their primary target in Game 1, keeping Team Falcons constantly on the defensive.
Marco “Super Marco” Requitiano on Harith managed to steal the final lord objective from the hands of Twisted Minds, but it proved insufficient to salvage the game.
Mico “Nosia” Capil on Granger gave a masterclass on marksmanship and went unstoppable to power Twisted Minds in the final push with an impressive 14-1-3 KDA.
In the end, it was Michael “MP the King” Endino on Lancelot who claimed the MVP honors, piercing through the backlines and delivered a 7-1-11 KDA.

Team Falcons refused to back down without a fight in the second game of the series, but all it took was patience and perfect timing for Twisted Minds to turn everything around.
After successfully defending their base, Twisted Minds took the risk and went for a run down in the mid lane during the 19-minute mark.
Nosia on Moskov and MP the King on Yi Sun Shin worked like a well-oiled machine in eliminating the members of Team Falcons.
With only left standing on the side of Team Falcons, Twisted Minds did not break a sweat in securing the series win.
Miguel “Sionnn” Alcantara dominated with Selena, landing on point Abyssal Arrows that earned him the MVP with a 4-2-4 KDA.

Mind over matter
In Game 1, AP.Bren had the early game momentum but Twisted Minds flipped it halfway through when MP the King on Hayabusa secured the lord objective at the 9-minute mark.
MP the King was unstoppable against AP.Bren, closing the match with a stellar 7-1-8 KDA.

The momentum shifted in Game 2 as AP.Bren hammered Twisted Minds with a lopsided 20-9 kill score, tying the series at 1-1.
Jan Carl “shizou” Valdez turned Harith into a weapon of destruction, dominating every clash and finishing with a perfect 11-0-6 KDA.
Both squads showed grit, but it was Twisted Minds who got the last laugh and finished off the Game 3 in less than 12 minutes with a dominant 19-3 kill tally.
Sionnn’s Kagura was a nightmare to deal with, as he dominated the mid lane with a perfect 8-0-8 KDA.

Twisted Minds finished Week 1 at the top, standing out as the only team with a flawless 2-0 record. Can Twisted Minds continue to bring the plot twists in Week 2, or will other teams finally see through their mind games?
