Time Running Out: Twisted Minds determined to keep playoff hopes

THE END of the MPL Philippines Season 15 regular season is fast approaching, and Twisted Minds continue to face hurdles in turning their relentless efforts into favorable results they have been seeking for so long.

Twisted Minds’ playoff dream may be hanging by a thread as they find themselves in the bottom three of the standings with only one point match record, but the fighting spirit is still burning bright.

“Confident kami pagdating sa laban namin. Syempre, hindi din naman namin ibababa yung guard namin kahit na sabihin namin na yung makakalaban namin pare-pareho kaming nasa baba."

"Para sa amin, iti-treat pa rin namin sila na parang mga nasa top tier din. The moment na binaba namin yung guard namin, baka yung pa yung ikapahamak namin,” coach Kristoffer “BON CHAN” Ricaplaza said, showing great respect for AP.Bren and Smart Omega.

Time is gold, as they say, and it’s the one currency we spend without knowing its balance— something BON CHAN is well aware of, knowing there’s still much to improve for Twisted Minds during the two-week MPL break.

“I mean, naka-set na kung ano yung magiging schedule namin. Nandun yung may pahinga at the same time. Talagang kailangan din namin gamitin yung oras na yun para makahabol,” he said.

Team Falcons took down Twisted Minds with a 2-0 decisive sweep in Week 6 of the MPL Philippines Season 15 regular season, also barging their way to playoffs as a bonus.

“Sobrang galing talaga nila sa macro. Parang naiiwan talaga kami sa mga plays nila. Parang one step ahead talaga sila palagi sa amin kaya nakakalamang sila palagi sa amin,” Michael “MP the King” Endino pointed out.

“Nung nalugi na kami, parang may minindset na lang namin mag-def (defend) na lang kami. Yung hero rin naman namin, pang def. Naka-Pharsa kaya siguro tumagal din yung game kasi di sila basta-basta nakakapasok,” Salic “Hadji” Imam added.
