BLACKLIST AGENTS are among the most diehard fans in the Philippine MLBB scene.
From the long lines of MPL-PH Season 10, to fans arriving at the venue four to five hours earlier than the match schedule, to that time during the M3 World Championship when agents tried to sneak their way inside the Suntec Convention Center, there's no denying the extreme levels that these fans would go to just to see their idols.
And that same level of passion was displayed in M4 as Enzo, who is a diehard Blacklist fan, traveled all the way from Dubai then Manila for the holidays, and eventually in Indonesia.
In his stay in Indonesia, Enzo (who preferred to keep his last name to himself) revealed to Spin.ph how much he spent for his trip.
"I’m staying at the hotel with the other players, so that itself is kinda pricey. So all in all, probably more than 200,000 pesos or even more."
He explained: "In general because the hotel itself is around 170,000 pesos itself already and you have to factor the airfare So mga more than 200 [thousand] to 250 [thousand] plus your day-to-day allowances.
"They’re that worth it."
And while spending that amount of money might mean that Enzo was a sure-in to acquire tickets, that wasn't the case. He actually struggled to get tickets for the event, especially in a country that's also known for strong MLBB teams with equally strong fanbases.
He was lucky that Blacklist helped him to acquire tickets.
“I’m actually friends with the players, and before this one I actually joined them in the van, during the group stage. So one of the biggest perks of being one of the only fans here, so you get to spend more intimate time with the players," said Enzo.
"Blacklist has been very very nice to me to sort of arrange tickets because it’s so hard to get tickets here."
Did he have any prior connections to the team that gave him a leg up in the ticket hunt? Enzo demurred. "No I don’t have any, I actually asked the players if they could help me out because I went up here and they were kind enough to actually pull a leg for me so I’m very lucky and very grateful for that."
He added: "The M4 tickets are so hard to get and days before the actual event, they had to refund tickets pa so it was difficult for me to get tickets. I also had tickets on my own, kaso I really had to get one more because there are still friends of mine who are trying to fly over."

A lot at stake in M4 for Blacklist
Given the challenges Blacklist face in the road to their title defense, he realized that his support is a must.
In hostile territory, and with doubts dogging the team after their recent performances in the MPL: Invitational and IESF campaign, Enzo said that "this is the biggest arena that they have to conquer, so that’s the reason why they need all the support that they could get.
"For starters, there’s a lot at stake here. I think at this point, a lot of people are doubting Blacklist because of their performance so far but I know that they can pull through and they can push through and silence all the haters."
In Jakarta, he also wanted to impart this message to the team:
"For Blacklist, you have what it takes, just believe in yourself, calm your hearts, if you guys are at peace, you will win this, bring out the crowd, it’s going to be back-to-back for sure."
And for the fans, Enzo had this reminder: "They need all the support that they can get so as much as we can, let’s give it all to them."
BON CHAN, V33nus, and Oheb respond to Enzo's support
Members of Blacklist International were touched upon hearing his story.
After winning against RRQ Akira, en route to their upper bracket battle against RRQ Hoshi, Coach Kristoffer "BON CHAN" Ricaplaza said that Enzo's journey became a source of motivation for the team.
"Syempre sobrang napakasarap sa pakiramdam na maraming effort na ginagawa ng mga fans namin, especially siya na sobrang layo pa nang pinanggalingan. Siguro isa yun sa mga nagiging motivation namin na talagang mag-effort para sa mga fans namin, at hindi namin dapat silang biguin para lalo din namin silang mapasaya," said the Blacklist head coach.
Meanwhile Johnmar "OhMyV33nus" Villaluna hopes that MOONTON will take steps to help out these passionate fans.
"Actually ako din, super-duper mega happy ako na may mga sobrang nag-e-effort para suportahan kami, lalo na ngayon na wala tayo sa homecourt natin. So every support na kailangan namin is sobrang importante," she said.
"Actually marami pa kaming supporters and fans na sobrang willing talagang pumunta sa Indonesia, and at the same time wala din silang tickets. Hopefully na mapagbigyan ni MOONTON na papasok sila or mabigyan sila ng ticket, or maging priority sila since nag-travel talaga sila and sobrang effort nilang gumastos para makanood dito sa M4."
Kiel "Oheb" Soriano was just thankful for the unprecedented support.
"Salamat sa pagsuporta, na-appreciate namin kayo ng sobra. Gagalingan pa namin sa mga susunod na match," said the Blacklist gold laner.
