TNC PRO TEAM continues to make valiant efforts to rise from the ashes, but the reigning world champion Falcons AP.Bren rampaged through with a decisive sweep and crushed their hopes to clinch their first victory in the fourth week of MPL Philippines Season 14 at the Green Sun Hotel, Makati City, on Friday.
As victory remains elusive for the TNC Pro Team halfway through the MPL Philippines Season 14, what keeps the Phoenix Army pushing forward? They were given a 9-minute beatdown in Game 2, which could've evaporated the morale of the team.
Yet Coach Patrick "E2MAX" Caidic found hope in a series of tough losses, trusting that TNC Pro Team's rebuilding process would ultimately be worth it.
“‘Yung proseso, doon kami naniniwala. Ganoon talaga sa pagdating sa mga umpisa na mga bagong build na roster, medyo mahirap pa mag-expect ng resulta. Pero yung hope na kinakapitan namin ‘yung process namin na alam naming every week na dumadaan, nag-i-improve team, ‘yung chemistry, mas maraming natutunan para sa mga susunod na games, mas magamit namin,” coach E2MAX said, optimistic about the learnings and improvements that the team has gained along the way.
“Sa nangyayari ngayon sa team, kailangan pa rin namin alamin kung saan kami nagkukulang and mag focus doon sa mga weaknesses namin, tapos i-maintain ‘yung mga strengths ng team,” he added, underscoring the need to identify where they fall short and stick to what they do best.
Hindi pa tapos ang lahat
Despite the winless record and a playoff dream at stake, coach E2MAX places his faith in TNC and remained hopeful in the remaining weeks of the regular season.
“Kailangan pa rin namin maniwala sa team kasi hindi pa naman tapos ‘yung season at hindi pa na a-announce na laglag na, kailangan lang lumaban,” E2MAX said.
The TNC Pro Team may find themselves struggling in the first half of the season, but they remain resilient, rising from the ashes of defeat each time and keeping the fighting spirit burning like a phoenix.
“Kailangan naming bumangon sa mga pagkakamali namin, and maniwala lang kami sa proseso ng improvements. Wala namang sobrang bilis na results. Wag lang mag-expect ng mabilis na results, pero ang ine-expect namin yung tuloy tuloy na practice ng team,” E2MAX expressed.
The TNC Pro Team will return to action on Saturday to face Blacklist International. Both teams are vying to clinch their first victory in MPL Philippines Season 14.
