Kristof Malcus “Hesu” Calderon is TNC Pro Team’s most recognizable face owing to him being a “front man” of the team on social media. With the help of the versatile Exp Laner Hesu, TNC shocked the MPL Philippines community when they slayed former world champion and top-seeded team in Season 11 BREN Esports in a stunning 2-1 victory in Week 6. This was again followed by another major upset in Week 7 as TNC dismantled ECHO, the M4 world champion, in a protracted battle that would serve the Orcas a 0-2 defeat in the hands of the Phoenixes.
Speaking to Spin.ph, Hesu revealed TNC is determined to secure a slot in the Playoffs.
“Lahat kami gustong gusto namin manalo at makapasok sa playoffs. Kayang kaya pa,” said Hesu.
Hesu said the team was ecstatic over their win against BREN and ECHO, the top two teams in Season 11 of MPL Philippines.
“Sobrang saya po namin, pero hanggang ngayon po gutom pa rin po kaming manalo kasi hindi pa po tapos ang laban,” Hesu told Spin.
With TNC’s double upsets aside, Hesu indulged us to talk about life before esports.
Hesu looks back on child star days
“Bata pa po ako noon, mga 7 to 8 years old po,” Hesu says, referring to the days when he was a regular talent at a show called Jollitown. “Show po iyon ng Jollibee, tapos maraming epsiodes. Dancers po kami doon,” he explained.
Jollitown is an informative children’s show broadcast by GMA Network. It premiered on April 13, 2008 and concluded on October 12, 2013 with a total of 82 episodes.

But that was just one of his acting gigs as a child star.
Unknown to many, Hesu also appeared in a primetime drama-fantasy series on ABS-CBN titled Honesto, in which he played the role of Aaron, Honesto’s bully. It was a show that replaced Coco Martin’s hit action-fantasy series Juan dela Cruz, and aired from October 2013 to March 2014.
Hesu on It's Showtime in 2016

In 2016, Hesu appeared in It’s Showtime and competed as a dancer on a segment called Junior Hashtags. Most notably, he also appeared in Eat Bulaga in GMA, in which he also competed in a talent show titled Little Bossings.
“Nag-champion po kami noon sa Eat Bulaga, sa Little Bossing. Pagkatapos po iyon ng segment ni Ryzza Mae Dizon.

His dancing career would propel him and his crew to win a national competition, eventually securing a slot to compete in Malaysia.
But for Hesu, these are all just hobbies. If he didn’t pursue an esports career, the 17-year-old would focus on becoming a doctor.
“Pangarap ko po maging doktor,” he revealed.
