TYPHOON CARINA is ravaging the Philippines, causing a lot of problems to our fellow kababayans who were left stranded in the floods.
And with the rains constantly pouring downward, dampening the morale of Filipinos, a few sparks of light would try their best to inspire the community.
These esports and gaming personalities have devoted their time to offer aid to our fellow countrymen in dire need.
Ghost Wrecker's Malabon rescue
Content creator Elyson "Wrecker" Caranza and his team traveresed the floods in Araneta village in Malabon to offer their support. They brought four boats, that can transfer eight individuals.
They also sought help from the community if they could provide ropes.
After his initial attempts, Wrecker then posted on his social media page hoping that more volunteers can offer their services.
But he wasn't the only one who answered the call, as other personalities have also made an effort as well.
V33Wise poised to offer donations
Meanwhile Aurora's Royal Duo of Johnmar "OhMyV33nus" Villaluna and Danerie James "Wise" Del Rosario have received donations from the community.
Wise then posted a photo of the total collection amount they received while also giving instructions to those who are willing to support their cause.
Together with V33nus, Wise was able to prepare the packages to be delivered to the community.
Dogie prepping up the donations
Then there's Setsuna "Akosi Dogie" Ignacio who announced on his social media page that he is prepared to send donations based on the outcome of his livestream session.
"Mga guys mamayang live ko, kung magkano na talo ko, ganun halaga ibibigay natin sa mga nasalanta ng bagyo at kung mag kano napanalo ko ayun din ibibigay natin na tulong sa mga nasalanta ng bagyo. INGAT PO KAYO AT MAG DASAL PO MGA KABABAYAN," as stated on his post.
Team Secret cares
However it's not only the players and personalities who had their say in the current crisis affecting the country as Team Secret has also reminded the community on the emergency protocols.
They posted photos of phone numbers coming from government agencies.
But the storm isn't just going to affect the citizens and other individuals as it can also be a struggle for animals who could be abandoned in the middle of the crisis. Secret then reminded the community to also be responsible in taking care of their pets.
With their efforts, perhaps others as well would feel inspired to aid the victims of Typhoon Carina.
