This victory was particularly sweet for Greed_, who is tasting championship gold for the first time, having played for the opposing team just last season. "Marami akong gustong patunayan sa kanila kaya naging emotional talaga ako pagtapos ng laro," he told ABS-CBN Sports after the match. His team's impressive 7-2 record during the regular season was a foreshadow of the success that was to come.
