MOBILE LEGENDS BANG BANG has taken the mobile esports scene by storm ever since it pushed for a competitive scene back in the mid-to-late 2010s.
From there, a world championship stage was formed and the momentum keeps on pushing forward in the decade ahead.
Recently, the 2024 Mobile Gaming Awards (MOBIES) concluded, which saw MLBB take centerstage as it garnered numerous awards. Among those that received the award is the game's prestigious M5 World Championship tournament, which was held in Manila, Philippines back in December 2023.
The tournament drew 5,067,107 peak viewers and an average of 475,259 viewers.
And there were other awards that MLBB attained, which even included one of most renowned teams in the scene, Falcons AP.Bren.
- Most Competitive Game of the Year – MLBB
- Live Event of the Year – MLBB M5 World Championship
- Mobile Team of the Year – Falcons AP.Bren
In addition, MLBB had five major nominations, which included superstars like Falcons AP.Bren's David Charles "FlapTzy" Canon and Selangor Red Giants' Muhammad Haqqullah "Sekys" Ahmad Shahrul Zaman.
- Mobile Game of the Year – MLBB
- Mobile Strategy Game of the Year – MLBB
- Developer of the Year – MOONTON Games
- Mobile Player of the Year – FlapTzy
- Mobile Player of the Year – Sekys
But it doesn't just end with the MOBIES as the game also got nominations in the prestigious 2024 Game Awards, in the Best Esports Game category.
Prior to these accolades, MLBB bagged the Mobile Esports Game award back in the 2024 Esports Awards last August.
