NEW game console… or Bluetooth speaker?
The Xbox Seriex S — a smaller, cheaper variant of the Xbox Series X — was unveiled yesterday. Gamers applauded its very low price ($299, or around P14,395), but a few had a little laugh about its design.
Well, just take a look at it.

Some compared it to a set of speakers, or even a boombox.
According to these netizens, the Xbox Series S also looks flatteringly like an air conditioning unit, a washing machine, or even a very classy stove.
The Xbox Series S is a small console, around 60 percent the size of its bigger sibling the Xbox Series X. While the full specs haven’t been released, it will most certainly have downgraded specs to match its price point. For one, it’s confirmed that it will be digital-only (meaning, it has no disc drive), it will have 512 GB of storage, and, visually, it will output a maximum of 120 frames per second at 1440p.
(In comparison, the Xbox Series X will have a disc drive, 1 TB of storage, and can deliver 4K resolution. Its price, however, has not yet been announced.)
You can watch Microsoft’s trailer for the console below, which they released after a raft of leaks exposed the existence of the console.
