THE INAUGURAL season of the WIld Rift Champions SEA (WCS) will kick off on February 25th across six regions that feature Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Invited teams from last season’s Wild Rift SEA Icon Series and teams from a new set of qualifiers will compete.
The competitive leagues from Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan will play for a total of five weeks in a best-of-three double round robin regular season. The top six teams will advance to the WCS Playoffs and will play in the two-week, double elimination playoffs from April 1 to 10.
The qualified teams in the playoffs will represent their regions in the WCS Finals — the culminating regional showdown that will determine the best of the best. The four teams will then represent Southeast Asia in the Wild Rift Icons Global Championship in Europe.
