COACH JOHN MICHAEL "Zico" Dizon is once again taking his coaching skills abroad as it was announced that Malaysian-based MLBB squad Team Secret will be banking on his leadership.
Zico will be coaching the likes of Muhammad Azam "Neo" Bin Ahmad, former Bigetron Alpha Maxwell "Maxx" Alessandro, Muhammad Aiman "Aim" Bin Mohamad Abas, former Geek Slate and Bigetron Alpha member Matthew "Matt" Geraldo, Hadiazwan "Box" Bin Rosli, and Tenka.
Challenges ahead for Zico
His new coaching tenure abroad will be a challenge for Zico as he'll be commanding a team that finished rock bottom last season. He also has to learn a new culture and language as he'll be coaching Indonesians and Malaysians.
In addition, Zico will be challenged by his rivals who appeared to be making crucial moves. RSG Malaysia acquired the likes of Jonard Cedrix "Demonkite" Caranto, while Red Giants Esports currently has former MPL PH champion coach, Michael Angelo "Arcadia" Bocado.
Prior to his arrival in Malaysia, Zico led a revolution in MPL Cambodia, where he gave Burn X Flash its very first MPL trophy and more importantly their first world stage birth. Afterwards he switched to rivals PRO Esports and secured a 4th place finish, losing to Zico's former team in the playoffs.
