TEAM LIQUID PH finishes fourth in the MLBB Women’s Invitational (MWI) 2025 after suffering a 3-0 sweep at the hands of Myanmar’s Terror Queens in the third-place match in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Terror Queens and Team Liquid were both piping hot in the early game of the series opener, constantly exchanging blows and keeping a keen eye on major objectives.
The moment of truth arrived when Hsu “KUU” Zin on Gatotkaca perfectly unleashed an Avatar of the Guardian play during the 20-minute lord contention, allowing Wint “CKOSHII” Linn on Irithel to dish out a game-winning double kill score.
There was a glimmer of hope for Team Liquid in Game 2, but it faded away after an overextension at the 19-minute mark, and Lynn “LunaLynn” Naing on Kimmy did not hesitate to go for the punishment and scored a double kill.
One win away from clinching a podium finish, the Terror Queens outclassed Team Liquid in game 3, taking control of the map, objectives, and resources.
Terror Queens of Myanmar secured a podium finish at third place, while Team Liquid concluded their MWI debut campaign in fourth.
