“WE ARE ON A MISSION, all gas, no brakes”
The ladies are now carrying out their mission to chase the MWI title, but they also set their sights on something bigger—breaking gender stereotypes against women in esports.
“May gusto akong patunayan sa mga bashers. Masyado nilang minamaliit yung mga babae. So gusto po namin na patunayan na kaya naming maglaro ng ML competitively,” gold laner Clarisse “CLA” Cordova said during the post-game interview.
(I want to prove something to the bashers. They underestimate women too much. So we want to prove that we can play ML competitively.)

An exclamation point delivered!
The MWI has just started, but Team Liquid wasted no time to make a statement of their prowess on the international stage.
“Actually before the game started, I told my team that in our first match, we should set the standard and give pressure to the other teams,” Trinity “Ramici” Ramos said.
Meanwhile head coach Mohammad “Moody” Samal made sure to provide a much-needed confidence boost for the team.
“I really wanted to make sure that they were really comfortable on stage, and they really showed up today. You did great, guys,” Coach Moody expressed, commending Team Liquid for a strong showing against TLG.
The fight for the 2025 MWI championship dream is far from over and Team Liquid identified Team Vitality and the MWI titleholder NAVI PH as major threats to their dominance.
