Let's take another look at the thrilling Week 5 and how Team Liquid Philippines fought their way to the top once again.
The Cavalry hunts the Falcons
The Cavalry came out strong with aggressive and unexpected Diversion plays, seizing early game momentum and putting Team Falcons on the defensive in the series opener.
But Team Falcons shifted the momentum in their favor thanks to the game-changing lord objective steal by Michael “KyleTzy” Sayson, playing as Joy, at the 10-minute mark.

The battle between Team Liquid PH and Team Falcons in game two was an intense nip-and-tuck affair, with only a minor gold and kill score difference.
Team Liquid PH gained the advantage after eliminating four members of Team Falcons in an intense 13-minute skirmish at the bottom lane, effortlessly securing the lord objective as a bonus.
Another intense clash unfolded in the last lord dance, yet the Cavalry triumphed over Team Falcons thanks to a clever backdoor play by Kiel “Oheb” Soriano on Moskov, backed by Alston “Sanji” Pabico on Lou Yi.

In the third game, Team Liquid PH overpowered Team Falcons with a commanding 11-3 kill score.
Oheb on Granger earned back-to-back MVP titles with a splendid 6-0-1 KDA.

Mind games didn’t work against Cavalry
Twisted Minds capitalized on Jomarie “Escalera” Delos Santos’ precisely executed Spatial Migration plays as Guinevere to dominate Team Liquid PH.
Escalera didn’t get the Magician moniker for nothing, stealing the spotlight with an epic conceal-Spatial-Migration-flicker combo against Oheb during the final push.
His unpredictable plays on Guinevere earned him the MVP badge with a 2-2-9 KDA.

The second game saw a complete turnaround as Team Liquid PH rampaged against Twisted Minds to tie the series.

Seeking a turnaround against Team Liquid PH, Twisted Minds debuted a Nana pick this season, placing it in the hands of Salic “Hadjizy” Imam.
But Team Liquid PH was unfazed with another mind-twisting hero selection from Twisted Minds, capping off the game in just 10 minutes.
Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz on Jawhead charged in to fire up the Cavalry’s offense with a 1-0-3 KDA.
