THE Cavalry bounced back in style and they did so by unleashing their signature, unstoppable stampede.

Team Liquid overpowered Yangon Galacticos with a commanding 2-0 sweep in Stage 4 of the Swiss Stage, securing their spot in the M7 World Championship Knockout Stage in Jakarta, Indonesia.

In Game 1, both teams played with discipline in the early game, avoiding overcommitment in team fights and keeping the scoreboard relatively low. Still, Team Liquid strategically built their lead, step by step.

Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya stole the spotlight with his daring dives, slipping into YG’s backline with Yu Zhong’s Dragon Form and catching Kaung "Lina" Khant on Pharsa and Htet "Stitch" Aung on Granger during the 14-minute clash at the middle lane’s outer turret.

His highlight-worthy plays paved the way for Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno on Yi Sun Shin to secure the lord objective with ease.

Sanford relentlessly pressured YG’s backlines throughout the match, while Alston “Sanji” Pabico sealed the game with a double kill on Valentina during the final base siege.

It was no surprise that Sanford earned MVP honors, finishing with an impressive 4-2-4 KDA.

Game 2 saw Team Liquid and YG go toe-to-toe early on, but it was the Cavalry who built the momentum slowly but steadily by securing three turtle objectives.

What started as a contention for the 10-minute Lord ended in disaster for YG, as Team Liquid quickly backed up Sanford’s Gloo, allowing Oheb’s Granger to mow down two kills and trigger a wipeout.
