THE DREAM LIVES ON for Malaysia's Selangor Red Giants OG Esports as they secured a 3-2 series victory over the reigning M6 World Champions, Onic Philippines in the MSC 2025 semifinals.
With their victory, the Malaysian squad has a chance to secure back-to-back MSC trophies, while the Filipino reps are now placed in the bronze medal match.
From the get go, SRG made a statement as Mark "Kramm" Rusiana was the perfect solution to negate the frontline assaults from Onic PH. With his Ruby pick, it was difficult for the Filipino squad to secure key setups, leaving both Frince "Super Frince" Ramirez and Duane "Kelra" Pillas exposed.

The dream lives on for SRG
But the momentum didn't just end there as Game 3 produced a landslide victory where SRG dominated the entire match and ended Onic's hopes within 10 minutes.
And even when things were going against them as seen in Game 5 where Muhammad Haqqullah "Sekys" Bin Ahmad Shahrul Zaman and Muhammad Qayyum "Yums" Ariffin Bin Mohd Suhairi were forced to play heroes that haven't been their main staples in the MSC 2025 tournament, SRG managed to pressure the defending world champs from the beginning to the end.
Jann "Kirk" Gutierrez' struggles were evident in the final game and with only Kelra serving as the team's beacon of hope, the dominoes started to crumble for the Filipino squad.
In the end, it was SRG.OG who made their grand finals appearance, where they'll face Team Liquid PH.
Meanwhile Onic PH will face their sibling Onic ID.
