WITH CHINA emerging in the MLBB scene, the region has decided to tap into the talents of Filipinos as seen from the likes of Kiel "Kielvj" Cruzem and Kenneth "Saxa" Fedelin.
But there were teams from China who tried to go extremely far as SPIN.ph sources unveiled a surprising revelation.
"One Chinese team tried to buy Kelra and YnoT. This was literally right after they won S14."
However this didn't materialize as both Duane "Kelra" Pillas and Coach Tony "YnoT" Senedrin remained with the org.
Is China the dream destination for Pinoy players?
It may seem like a longshot for a Chinese team to acquire two individuals who are currently at their highest peak, however the source further elaborated that the Chinese region could be the next big thing.
"A lot of Filipinos are going to China, it's the compensation that they're getting. It's pretty insane," reflected the source.
They even highlighted the potential earnings of players stating: "It starts as low as Php60,000 and I heard someone is like Php100,000."
According to the source, "C or D-tier players receive around 60 to 100K, I can only imagine how much Kelra or Coach Tony will be offered."
Perhaps Kelra and Coach YnoT might earn around half a million or even more due to their reputation, and given the insane salaries from the region perhaps this is the new destination for Filipino players.
"That's the new dream, it's not Indo anymore. It's China because honestly it is easier and the pool is very small, plus the salaries and prize pools are huge," said the source.
