It’s now or never! After a two-week hiatus, Smart Omega appears to have regained their rhythm, improving their win-loss record to 2-9 and tying Twisted Minds with 2 points.
Smart Omega stayed on the grind and wasted no time during the long break to recalibrate and reset, and it showed in their performance today.
“Ano yung break? Di kasi kami nag break eh,” Jomari “Jowm” Pingol said during the broadcast interview with Hans and Odin.
Playoff dreams may be hanging by a thread, but Smart Omega’s fight is not over yet as they aim to rewrite their story this season.
“Since wala kami dun sa spot na gusto namin, mas pinili namin na mag-grind pa nang mas madami. Kumbaga, yung iba nagpapahinga, kami nagpa-practice pa rin,” Jown said during the post-match interview.
Smart Omega made the most of the break that gave way to Snapdragon Mobile Masters 2025 and Holy Week, also gaining valuable insights from their SIBOL MLBB men’s national team tryouts experience.
“Nakatulong naman siya (SIBOL MLBB tryouts) kasi mas dumadami yung mga scenario na nalalaman namin in-game,” he added.

Andoryuuu laughs off error
Twisted Minds managed to push the series to a decisive game three, but a single daring move gave Smart Omega the momentum and confidence they needed.
Andrew “Andoryuuu” Flora on Ling misclicked his retribution spell against Salic “Hadjizy” Imam’s Yve but still snatched the first turtle objective from the hands of Twisted Minds.
“Hindi naman namin in-expect na makukuha ni Andrew yun (turtle objective) eh. Nung nakuha ni Andrew yun, parang may boost sa confidence na lumaban pa sa clash kaya nanalo kami sa first clash pa lang na yun. Tapos parang tumaas yung confidence na tumuloy-tuloy ng play,” Czedrick “Super Yoshi” Romero explained.
What exactly happened in that scenario from the viewpoint of Andoryuuu?
“Natawa ako sa ginawa ko dun. Nadapa kasi ako. Eh, nakuha ko yung turtle. Kumbaga, yung karma binabalik yan kaya naging good karma. Napindot kasi eh. Error ko yun,” Andoryuuu said, laughing off his supposed error in game three.
Smart Omega’s schedule includes a match against Aurora Gaming tomorrow and clashes with AP, Bren, and ONIC Philippines in the final week of the regular season.
