THE PHILIPPINES IS all set for the upcoming 2025 IESF World Esports Championship stage as the lineups for MLBB Men's and Women's alongside Dota 2 have been finalized.
Team Falcons' members will once again spearhead the Filipino flag as the likes of Marco "Super Marco" Requitiano, Angelo Kyle "Pheww" Arcangel, David Charles "FlapTzy" Canon, Rowgien "Owgwen" Unigo, and Kyle "KyleTzy" Sayson will all compete in the world stage.
Each of these members won gold back in the 2023 IESF World Championship.
If back in that year, the team was coached by Francis "Ducky" Glindro and Vrendon "Vren" Lin. This version of the squad will be coached by Robert "Trebor" Sanchez and Falcons' 6th Man, Vincent "Pando" Unigo.
However there are two major additions for the IESF roster as SIBOL will also have the services of Team Liquid's Sanford "Sanford" Vinuya and Onic PH's Duane "Kelra" Pillas.
Sanford was once banned from Sibol duties due to an invite decline, while Kelra will be making his official debut for the national team.
Omega Empress returns
As for the women's MLBB team, SIBOL has decided to maintain their flagship team from previous women's tournaments featuring members from the Omega Empress.
Players namely Rica Fatima "Amoree" Amores, Sheen "Shinoa" Perez, Gwyneth "Ayanami" Diagon, Kaye Maerylle "Keishi" Alpuerto, Mery Christine "Meraaay" Vivero have once again answered the call.
To supplement their lineup, the team attained Nina Nicole Segismar and Coach Salman Macarambon, who called the shots back when Omega won the 2024 MLBB Women's Invitational.
Execration to spearhead Dota 2 squad
Meanwhile Execration will carry the banner for the Philippines in Dota 2 featuring players namely Joel Pagkatotohanan, Bryle Alvizo, Charles Delos Santos, Jinn Lamatao, Mark Jubert Redira, and Justine Grimaldo.
Coach Wei Lee Yip will serve as the team's tactician.
