THE MALAYSIAN MLBB scene has reached greater heights with Selangor Red Giants (SRG) going all the way to the grand finale, but can they finally secure the championship over the heavily favored Falcons AP.Bren squad?

In one of the most impressive feats that would silence critics arguing that Malaysia is an easy region, the Giants stood tall, winning the MSC 2024 trophy over the Bees.

Selangor had to grind their way outlasting Bren in a seven game slugfest.

Sekys, YumS, and Stormie explode over Bren

Game 1 could've been a victory for Selangor as Muhammad Haqqullah "Sekys" Ahmad Shahrul Zaman showed his prowess with the Ling, only for them to suffer from Bren's backdoor play, Game 2 saw SRG bounce back.

Similar to Game 1, SRG struggled at the early game only for them to slowly recover. Once again Sekys was the center of attraction with his Ling where he gained momentum after stealing the Lord and getting a sudden kill on Marco "Super Marco" Requitiano.

SRG likewise capitalized on their win condition, relying on the late game as Bren's lineup was geared towards the early game due to Kyle "KyleTzy" Sayson's Nolan.

By the 13th minute with Sekys on fire, SRG punctured through en route to their Game 2 win.

Unfortunately they couldn't maintain that momentum as Bren denied Sekys his signature Ling and suffered in Game 3.

Seeing how they were destroyed in Game 3, SRG drafted a lineup geared to control the early game with their Fanny pick on Sekys. From the beginning, Sekys towered over David Charles "FlapTzy" Canon and Angelo Kyle "Pheww" Arcangel.

Then in the final touches particularly on the 18th minute, Sekys caused some confusion in Bren's lineup, leading to a 2-2 score.

With the series tied, both teams went back-and-forth in Game 5, but clutch plays from Muhammad "Yums" Suhairi and John "Innocent" Banal in the tight corridors would then turn the tides in favor of SRG. Eventually they were able to write the script and secure a 3-2 edge.

But like a vengeful entity, Bren destroyed SRG in Game 6, as Super Marco went bonkers, leading to the final game, where the Malaysian squad exacted their vengeance.

If the previous games were dictated by Sekys, YumS, and the Filipino players, it was Hazziq "Stormie" Rizwan who made a statement with his Valentina in the final game.

Stealing key abilities, Stormie commanded most fights and he even slowed down key members like Rowgien "Owgwen" Unigo.

Bren struggled to engage in the final game and the finishing touches were already delivered.
