DESPITE THE CRITICISMS centered on key players during the M6 World Championship, and despite sources unveiling to SPIN.ph, that Aurora's MLBB squad could be gunning for something big during the offseason, the Northern Lights has opted to stick to their main core for Season 15.
The M6 squad featuring Renejay "Renejay" Barcarse, Kenneth "Yue" Tadeo, Edward "Edward" Jay Dapadap, Jonard Cedrix "Demonkite" Caranto, and Jan "Domeng" Delmundo remains intact.
Their coaching staff has also remained as both Aniel "Master The Basics" Jiandani and Dexter "DEX STAR" Alaba are still a part of the squad.
There is one significant addition to the team as Justin "Calad" Limbo was listed in the squad and he could be overtaking Ben Seloe "Benthings" Maglaque's role from last season. In an interview with the media, it was revealed that Benthings was on loan from TNC, and that there have been some issues with the loan agreement hence why he was released.
Calad was once a part of Blacklist International's squad that competed back in the M5 World Championship, supporting the backend as the team's analyst.
Aurora's decision to stick to their main guns from last season are signs that the team is building on its chemistry and player development process, hoping that the team will eventually blossom into Baywatch's lifeguards.
Last season Aurora pushed their way to the MPL S14 finale where they lost to the eventual world champs, Fnatic Onic Philippines. Despite their impressive run in the domestic league, the team struggled in the M6 World Championship stage, failing to reach the knockout stages.
