IT SEEMS RRQ KAITO's momentum is further surging upward as the team prevailed in the National team qualifiers of Team Sibol for the IESF World Esports Championship in the Men's MLBB division.

It was no easy task for them, as the team had to contend with two major professional teams, Team Falcons AP.Bren and Smart Omega.

Their victory proves that MDL teams are also a major threat in the local MLBB esports scene. Is this a sign that the RRQ Kingdom is ready to invade the professional scene?

It likewise provides a platform for Coach Jian Paulo "Pauloxpert" Munsayac to further unleash his coaching prowess where he will forge a team for the upcoming IESF campaign. Similar to previous coaches, Coach Pauloxpert will select players from RRQ Kaito, Team Falcons AP.Bren, Smart Omega, and RV FRYD Esports, to spearhead Sibol's MLBB roster.

Overcoming the defending world champs

Falcons AP.Bren may have controlled the early parts of Game 1, but the Kingdom slowly bounced back as the match went on. The Kingdom waited for Cymond "CY" Torres to snowball to the late game, where his Harith became a major threat.

Combined his performances with the setups from MDL finals MVP, Denniel "xNova" Denison Gomez and RRQ secured their Game 1 win.

Afterwards, RRQ struggled to gain a foothold in Game 2 as they couldn't deal with Bren's aggression, forcing a decider.

In Game 3, RRQ deployed a dual marksman setup featuring CY's Natan and Gabriel "DENJIRO" Guinto's Roger. Together with Carl Edriel "Minguin" Gallantes' ability to timely steal Angelo Kyle "Pheww" Arcangel's spells and RRQ has finally slayed their foes en route to the finale.

Stopping the Barangay

The scoreline in Game 1 may have been a one sided stomp in favor of RRQ Kaito, but it was far from that as both teams had their moments that gave them momentum.

Omega actually managed to push their rivals all the way to their Tier 3 turrets and they even managed to secure key kills at the early moments of teamfights.

But the support play of RRQ dictated the match as Minguin's Luo Yi caused a lot of havoc with his movements and the same can be said with xNova's Lolita.

RRQ likewise featured a more stable teamfight approach with their Baxia and Lapu-Lapu, synergizing well in teamfights, giving the Kingdom their Game 1 win.

The following game saw RRQ control the game as CY has been seen split pushing the entire map, capitalizing on Omega's tendencies to stick together.

Edferdz "Ferdz" Fernandez also had some flashy moments, where his Benedetta wrecked havoc in fights and in the end, it was the Kingdom who reigned supreme.
