“WHO WANNA ROCK WITH JENNIE?”
Global K-Pop sensation Jennie has rocked the world with “Like Jennie,” a hit that found its way into the music rotation of Aurora Gaming’s star Renejay “Renejay” Barcarse.
Among all the pop stars with irresistible charms and face cards that never decline, what made Jennie stand out to Renejay?

Jennie released her debut solo album, titled “Ruby,” in March, and it offers an experience like watching her soul refract through a kaleidoscope—bold, evocative, and endlessly expressive.
Renejay revealed in an exclusive interview with SPIN.ph that he is captivated by the self-referential and unapologetic anthem “Like Jennie” and the passion-fueled track “Handlebars” featuring Dua Lipa.
Will we see Renejay busting out some moves with a “Like Jennie” dance cover in the future? We’ll find out in time.
BLACKPINK is gearing up for their third world tour, kicking off in South Korea later in July. Although dates in other Asian countries, including the Philippines, are yet to be announced, Renejay is still excited for the chance to see Jennie and the group live on stage.
However, if a BLACKPINK concert falls on the same day as a local or international competition, Renejay prioritizes his career first.
“Syempre trabaho pa rin, ML! Kumbaga, set aside ko muna yung pagiging fan ko. May mga iba pa namang chance. Pwede naman ako lumipad ng ibang bansa para panoorin talaga siya,” he said, considering the possibility of attending other stops on BLACKPINK’s tour if needed.

Making a statement through fashion
Whether it’s streetwear or something sleek, Renejay uses fashion as an outlet for expressing his individuality, just like style-savvy artists such as Jennie and Canadian star Justin Bieber.
Doon ako kumukuha ng technique or kung mag-fi-fit ba siya sa akin,” Renejay said, drawing inspiration also from Justin Bieber.
You do you, as they say. While fashion icons guided his style, Renejay still believes that self-confidence is the real outfit anyone can rock.
