EVEN in video games, June Mar Fajardo is a force to be reckoned with.
Marc Pingris disclosed how the six-time PBA MVP would try to trick him just to get due advantage – and eventually win over him - while playing DotA.
“Pabigat e, pabuhat e,” was how Pingris described the 6-foot-10 San Miguel stalwart as they briefly tackled their love for video games in the show Sports Page.
Fajardo had a good laugh while his close buddy from Magnolia talked about how he’ll get the better of him by usually misleading the veteran forward.
“Minsan ako yung tank, siya yung killer. So sabi, ‘Tol, pasukin mo na,'" Pingris related. “So pasok naman ako kasi alam ko nasa likod ko sila eh, susuporta sila.
“Pagkapasok ko, iiwan ako ng mga ito. So minsan, siyempre patay. Pagtatawanan ako.”
He teased Fajardo for being a burden to him in both basketball and video games.
“Ang bigat-bigat mo na nga sa laro, pabigat ka pa sa Dota eh,” said Pingris.
Other than basketball and Dota, the two had one more similarity, according to Ping.
“Mama’s boy kaming dalawa,” said the Magnolia forward.
