That's a lot of money!

With the recent announcements, esports fans could have their jaws glued to the floor and perhaps some could already start grinding to become pro esports athletes.

However the winner will not bring home the entire prize pool as it will be distributed and broken down into categories namely Club Championship, Game Championships, Qualifiers, and MVP awards.

US$20 million (Php1 Billion) will go to the top 16 teams, while the champions of their respective games will have a combined prize pool over US$30 million (Php1.7 Billion).

Then for teams who were able to reach the qualifiers, over US$7,000,000 (Php400 million) will be on the line, while the MVPs of each event will bring home US$50,000 (Php3 million).

Such a major announcement will definitely add a lot of excitement to the Esports World Cup, which will commence starting July 4 and end until August 24, 2024.

This wouldn't be the only esports event that will happen in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as MOONTON's MSC 2024 will also take place, boasting a US$3,000,000 prize pool.
