WHILE BOTH ONIC teams would prefer to meet at the MSC 2025 grand finals, fate would say otherwise as both of them clashed in the bronze medal match.
And to close the chapter in their MSC 2025 campaign, it was Onic PH who prevailed over their sibling rival, outlasting their foes in a close 3-2 encounter.
The first match of the series saw Onic PH with a vengeful aura as they domimated the early parts of the game with Jann "Kirk" Gutierrez exploding with his Edith, a perfect way to respond after a disappointing performance vs. SRG.OG in the semifinals.
Kirk likewise ended the game with a savage that ultimately sealed Onic PH's victory.
But eventually Onic ID adapted which was evident when they found a loophole in their PH counterparts' gameplan. While Kirk was phenomenal in Game 1, the second match saw him struggling with the ghosts of his past as his Arlott in Game 2 suffered 8 deaths.
It likewise didn't help that Clayton "Savero" Kuswanto was on fire with his Claude, leading to Onic ID's victory.

Who is the better Onic squad?
Then in Game 3, a crucial 12th minute Lord clash saw the Indonesian squad pick apart their Filipino counterparts as Moch "Lutpiii" Ardianto forced Kelra's isolation which opened up Savero's engagement, which led to a matchpoint situation in favor of Onic ID.
And it seemed the Indonesian squad could finally pull off their victory especially since the team found a potential kryptonite against the Filipino squad. Nicky "Kiboy" Pontonuwu's ability to zone out Duane "Kelra" Pillas was key alongside Lutpii's tendencies to alienate Kirk in teamfights.
But a 19th minute defensive play by Onic PH led by Frince "Super Frince" Ramirez' Pharsa slowly changed the tides. The Filipinos eventually saw through Onic ID's gameplan and they eventually adapted forcing a decisive Game 5.
Desperate to win it all, the Indonesian squad unveiled their devastating Angela and Baxia combo which hampered Onic PH in the early game.
However the Super Fam adapted well as they countered their aggression through their rotations around the map. In addition, Cyric "K1NGKONG" Perez secured key Lord steals that gave breathing room for Onic PH.
There were also moments of brilliance as seen from Super Frince's Luo Yi and Borris "Brusko" Parro's Kalea bamboozling Kairi "Kairi" Rayosdelsol, teleporting him to the danger zone.
Through their calculated setups, Onic PH bagged the bronze medal, taking home $250,000 (Php14 million) and 500 EWC club points.
