FOLLOWING RIOT GAMES' official announcement of Valorant Mobile, the competitive scene in the Philippines is already buzzing with anticipation. Veteran mobile FPS pro Pabi, known for his decorated stints across multiple titles, has teased on Facebook and X that he’s leading Kadiliman Esports’ new Valorant Mobile roster.

The team’s reveal post introduced a “Valorant Mobile Pro Team” headlined by standout FPS players Majo, Blue, Jayzee, and Woopiiee.

Kadiliman Esports, known for its grassroots presence through gaming cafés across Metro Manila, is now making a bold leap from local hubs to national-stage competition. With Pabi at the helm and a talent-rich lineup in tow, the org is positioning itself as an early contender in the upcoming Valorant Mobile landscape.

Meanwhile, streamer and content creator Elyson “GHOST Wrecker” Caranza also made waves after announcing GHOST Esports’ official entry into Valorant Mobile. In a public Facebook post, Wrecker revealed that they are now recruiting players and coaches, offering bootcamps, salaries, and devices to form a dedicated competitive roster.

Mobile FPS enters a new era

While mobile FPS games are nothing new, Valorant Mobile is expected to raise the bar. Offering round-based, tactical gameplay adapted from its hit PC version, Riot’s mobile adaptation – developed by LightSpeed Studios – aims to deliver the same level of polish and strategic depth, now in handheld form.

With this, leading Filipino orgs are wasting no time. Much like their global counterparts, they are building rosters and infrastructures even before the official game launch, aiming to sharpen team chemistry and attract early sponsorships.

As play testings continue and early tournaments loom on the horizon, the Philippines may well become a regional hotspot for Valorant Mobile esports. With organizations like Kadiliman and GHOST setting the pace, a foundation is already being laid for grassroots growth, bootcamp culture, and a thriving competitive ecosystem.

Valorant Mobile may still be months away from a global release, but the race has already begun. In the Philippines, early movers like Kadiliman and GHOST are proving that ambition, preparation, and infrastructure matter—especially in a game where timing and tactics are everything.
