THE WORLD goes on another day and another drama in a fued-fueled showdown between Twisted Minds’ Jhonville “Outplayed” Villar and TNC Pro Team’s Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera last Sunday, facing each other for the first time since their viral January social media dispute.
TNC Pro Team pulled off a reverse sweep against Twisted Minds to continue their third winning streak in the second week of MPL Philippines Season 15 regular season.
Yawi was hyped up and danced in front of Outplayed, appearing to taunt him after Twisted Minds another bitter defeat.

But a surprising turn of events unfolded as Yawi and Outplayed showed sportsmanship and even exchanged hugs on the MPL stage.
“Okay lang naman po kami. Parang feel ko naman po yung naging banter namin sa FB. Parang naging misunderstanding lang. Nag-sorry naman po kami sa isa’t isa after noon. Kaya po dinelete po namin. Naging okay naman po kami,” Outplayed explained, settling his misunderstandings with Yawi privately before their highly anticipated match in MPL Philippines Season 15.
The rivalry ignited last January during a tense ranked match between Twisted Minds and TNC Pro Team, quickly escalating to an exchange of harsh remarks in social media. But it’s all good now.

Outplayed chooses to focus on the bigger picture instead of revisiting a conflict that has already been resolved.
“Ang goal ko lang po talaga ngayong match talagang makapalag or manalo kami ng series, wala na po akong pake kahit sino kalaban namin ganun, basta mag-improve kaming lahat,” he said, expressing optimism despite a rocky start for the Twisted Minds.
Twisted Minds currently sits at the bottom of the MPL Philippines Season 15 standings with zero wins and will return to the battlefield on March 14 and 15 to chase their first franchise victory against Smart Omega and AP.Bren.
