WHO says esports athletes aren’t fit?
NXP Solid's Renejay "RENEJAY" Barcarse recently showed off his guns in a viral pic uploaded by gaming content creator and Nexplay coach YoLo. (Popular content creator Akosi Dogie is also a member of the Nexplay team.)
YoLo's post has gone viral, with more than 34,000 reactions and 6.4 thousand shares as of posting.
The team had just come from a loss to Cignal Esports in the regular season of the Mobile Legends league MPL PH. However, these pros made it to the playoffs.
Last week, Nexplay trounced two heavily favored teams: defending champs Aura PH, 2-0, as well as Execration, 2-1.
RENEJAY and the rest of the NXP Solid squad will next face Bren Esports in single elimination format next week as MPL PH’s playoff season kicks into high gear.
UPDATE (12 October): An earlier version of the article misidentified Renejay as the team captain of NXP Solid. We have confirmed with the league; the team captain at present is Mike Ace Chester C. Gonzales.
