THE MPL Philippines has moved its Friday matches to Monday after its supposed double-header was postponed due to inclement weather caused by Severe Tropical Storm Opong.
The matches between AP.Bren and ONIC Philippines and the supershowdown between Team Liquid Philippines and Aurora Gaming will now be played on September 29.
The league shared that tickets for Friday will still be honored this Monday and no further action is required if they want to watch on Monday.
For those who can’t attend on Monday, refunds will be available by emailing hello@tickelo.com. All refund requests will be processed on an individual basis to ensure that every fan is properly accommodated.
Meanwhile, matches scheduled for September 27 and 28 will proceed as planned, with the league closely monitoring weather bulletins and on-ground conditions to ensure the safety of the MPL community.
As Severe Tropical Storm Opong continues to affect several parts of the country, MPL urged fans to take all necessary precautions and prioritize their safety.
